is it food poisoning?

My boyfriend's been having diarrhea since this afternoon. He's been also feeling weak, dizzy, nauseas, feverish, as well as a sour stomach. We think it might be food poisoning, but I've also ate pretty much all the stuff he's eaten in the last 72 hours. Should we take him to the emergency room? Is it possible he's suffering from food poisoning?

Sounds like a nasty virus, however, you should really take him to the ER if this isn't subsiding.

That's all you can do. Make sure he is trying to hold down plenty of fluids. Also, he should be home getting rest. May God Be with ya,

Forgot to also mention that even though I've pretty much eaten all that he's eaten, I don't have any of his symptoms which had me wondering if it was food poisoning or the flu? He's so far stopped w/ the diarrhea, but did vomit while getting ready for work this morning. I saw he was sweating profusely & was complaining of having the chills. I've been monitoring him & told him if he doesn't improve by this afternoon, we're taking him to doctors. So I guess now we'll just wait & see.

I would set up a appointment with your doctor ASAP.
This can be very serious, but ER's tend to not things like that serious because they might just assume it is the flu. Either way though if you go to the doctor or ER they will give you antibiotics. This will make him feel better.

It sounds like it could be food poisoning. If his fever gets to high get him to a hospital. Watch him closely. This may just pass but no guarantee. May God Bless You both,
Kimberly
