pulse over 100

I have been donating plasma for the last 6 years and have had no problems. In Oct 2008 by back went out and I did not donate for a couple weeks. In the last 6 months I could only donate about 5 times. My pulse has been over 100 and you cannot donate if your pulse is over 100. My pluse has been around 115. I try to relax when my pulse is being taken. What can I do or take to bring down my pulse under 100

You should not be lowering your pulse in order to donate blood. The high pulse rate could be compensatory or could be due to conditions sending false signals to the atrial node.

In any event you are to be commended for your civic duty, but you aren't going to do anyone any good dead.

If you lower your pulse rate and donate blood you could conceivably end up with a cardiac event.

The resting heart rate for adults is 60---100; for well-conditioned athletes it is 40---60.  Several things can make it go higher, such as:
Anemia.
Decongestants.
Fever.
Heart disease.
An overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism).
Medicine used to treat asthma.
Stimulants such as caffeine, amphetamines, diet pills, and cigarettes.
Drinking alcohol.
Stress.

are you anemic or do you have low blood pressure? it will make your pulse rise. you should figure out what is wrong with you rather than just trying to make your pulse lower. that is the only way to really solve your problem.
