Spider bite or something else?

The day before yesterday I noticed a small pimple under my 4 year olds lip. I thought it was just a regular pimple from playing in the dirt. Yesterday it started to harden around the area and puff up her lip and chin. I squeezed it and some puss came out. Now the puffing is starting to puff around her cheek. What could have done this to her?

Squeezing a pimple sometimes forces the encapsulated pus (which is what the white stuff usually is) into the undlying tissues spreading an infection.

If there is still swelling it's probably a good idea to get her to a pediatrician.

It could be an infection, maybe from a bug bite or something like that. But sometime after squeezing something it causes some swelling its the bodies natural way to protect itself. but i would take her to get seen , a 4 year old dont normally get pimples so it could be something your unaware of.

Squeezed it?  Please get her in to see her pediatrician or emergent care asap if this has not subsided.
