Thank you for the messages.  I will have to make a trip to the doctors for some tests.  I know I must never over indulge again as it was horrible.  It was the first attack I have had in a long while.  A while ago I was getting them all the time.

that would be a gallbladder attack...maybe gas, bloating, belching, nausea, or vomiting also...

Sounds to me that you have either a gall bladder issue or a pancreatic issue. If you don't want to end up in surgery to have your gall bladder out I suggest you change your die immediately. Having the gall bladder out doesn't guarantee the problem will be fixed and it can make your condition worse. I had my gall bladder out and I am now unable to enjoy any fatty or spicy foods. Stay away from fast food, fatty foods (moderation) eat more fresh veggies and drink water with lemon to help cleanse your liver. Eat more chicken, fish and complex carbohydrates (they help control your cholesterol which is the cause of gall stones). Do not eat white flour carbohydrates and avoid simple sugars (can cause to much insulin that can lead to liver problems).

OUCH! I know the feeling.  Mine come from ulcers.  Some foods and medications will aggravate them. If I were you and it's OK with your doctor, I'd take an antacid.  Also gas pills might help.  Drinking the nasty baking soda and water usually does make me feel better.

If it gets worse or you just can't stand it any longer, you might try the ER or if you have a 24 hour emergency medical practice near you, try that.  They may be able to prescribe you something that will help.  Be careful with antacids.  I don't know what all you're on but some will interfere with other medications.  Check MedHelps drug interaction.for more info.  Or ask your pharmacist if your doctor isn't available.

Good luck.  I feel for you.
