do you guys think that maybe the CDC does not claim cases of delayed seroconversion in order to not creat havoc?

anyway, i read somewhere that the very few cases of delayed seroconversion were never fully proven and the details of these cases are shady. they might have been on PEP or they may have been reexposed. anyone else know anything about this?

thank you

OR here:

Question:  Does HCV delays HIV antibodies production? What is the window period for HCV testing?

Answer: Dear Enquirer HCV does not delay the production of antibodies nor does it affect the detection. The window period for HCV is also three months. Best wishes

I really do not know bout that, u say that in 12 years they did not seroconvert 3months+ or 6months+ (off window), very important. I have NOT tested 6 month, only 4 and a half. At least 2 people in my country said they seroconverted >6months in 2007, that's why I am scared to death..... of course, they could lie, but..God....Who would lie bout sth like that?

Antigen tests are worthless at more than 4 weeks post infection.
