Insertive  penile-vaginal intercourse is actually low risk, somewhere around a 1 in 2000 chance of infection per act ((if the female is KNOWN to be positive-and without the presence of other stds)), however, HIV isn't a game of odds, and it still remains a risk.

An antibody test at 3 months post exposure is conclusive. A DUO at 28 days ((no later)) post exposure is also an excellent indication.

Get an HIV duo test 4 weeks after exposure for conclusive results if you are worried about HIV. Unprotected vaginal sex is high risk but again like the poster above said a one time encounter is low risk.

Hi, those are symptoms of a cold. When discussing hiv we donot use symptoms since they could be anything as the immune systems is affected so only testing confirms hiv. but even though unprotected sex is considered high risk you fall into a low risk group and from a one time affair, i would not be concerned at all that you contracted hiv.
