Hello doctor,
Two days ago I had protected sex with a woman I had met in the same night (she was not a sex worker, but rather a lawyer). During the act, it all seemed ok, and I checked the condom twice. Then, for the last few minutes, I went along. As I ejaculated and ended the act, I noticed the condom had broken (at some point during that window I hadnt checked, at the ejaculation is my guess). It's the first time this has happened to me! I immediately went to the bathroom and washed myself. She did the same. Neither I nor her (seemed) to have any bruises on the genitals. She did not seem worried.
I asked her about pregnancy and HIV and she told me she took the pill (and did not want to take the next-day pill, as it was not necessary). She told me she hadn't had relations for 7 months and tested negative on her last exam, but it had been taken one year ago.
She said she did not have the virus, and I assured her neither had I.
Assuming she was NOT telling the truth, what are my chances here doc?
I'm quite desperate and don't know the earliest moment possible to take the test... when can I get tested with a decent percentage of accurate result?
