Terrible Experience

Dr.,

I had my first homosexual experience with a pre-op transvestite, I received anal sex and oral sex both using a condom the entire time. It only lasted a few minutes - aside from being extremely paranoid, the condom did not break. This person also claims to be HIV-, however I am still concerned. I went to a clinic a few days later and tested negative using a mouth swab test. However I have been feeling ill and sore, perhaps just anxiety related? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, with the timing of this test, should I take another in a few weeks? I believe it may have been too early. Thank you.

Thank you for the follow up, I greatly appreciate it. I plan on being re-tested in a few weeks assuming that several days after probably isn't very effective. Is my assumption correct?

No risk you had protected sex. If you have any illness it has nothing to do with HIV.

Sorry - I was mistaken in my first post, I will post in the Dr's forum when it is available. I see from your profile you have ample experience, any thoughts/suggestions? Much appreciated, thank you.

You said you wanted the doctors forum. This is NOT the doctors forum. You want a doctor to answer you then you'll need to post in the "Related Expert Forums"- HIV Prevention

First off this isn't the doctor's forum. If you had sex with a preop transexual it is not considered a homosexual act.
