Chance of getting hiv

I had unprotected sex with an criminal 6 times in the course of one month...however, I did not know that he had previously gone to jail and now I’m scared because we know what can happen to men in jail and I’m not aware of his previous sexual encounters. He said he was clean but I don’t believe him. I had a rapid test done at 7 weeks which was negative...but on that day I came down with strep and two days before I was having extreme pains and needles throughout my whole body along with muscle aches. The strep could’ve been from me jogging in 40 degree weather with no water but I don’t want to chalk it up to just that.My doctor tells me it’s the anxiety when I think about him because I also have anxiety disorder. I’m almost sure he did something to me, I didn’t start having any symptoms until 7 weeks which were (body malaise, pins and needles, muscle aches, back aches) I also have been very tired lately...wouldn’t it be too late for me so serocovert ? If I had these symptoms, weren’t they suppose to come earlier than 7 weeks prior to my exposure ?I’m scared I might have hiv . I went to planned parenthood and did a full std testing but I will not receive the results for a couple of days.

Rapid test ....negative

You can take a duo test after 28 days for a conclusive result so take one anytime now, or you can take any test at 3 months. Doctors can't diagnose HIV from symptoms because of the many causes so you won't be able to either, so there is no purpose in analyzing your body looking for a signal because it can't happen.
There is nothing pointing toward you having HIV, so try to relax until you can test.

Thank you for understanding cause I’m freaking out linking the strep throat to possible ARS even though it’s been 7 weeks and two days. I got my flu shot last month so I don’t know what else could’ve brought on this bacterial infection unless it was ARS
You interact with others who carelessly cough on your lips, food and door knobs, so colds and other health issues are to be expected at any time.
.Flu shot only covers a few flu strains that researchers think will be active each year, btw. Plus it doesn't work for everyone.
You are best off doing what I advised, stop studying your body because an HIV doctor wouldn't since it can't provide ANY answers
I understand but how valid was that rapid test for antibodies at 7 weeks because it was negative? The strep came after 7 weeks. Planned parenthood uses 4th generation testing so their results should be more accurate but is t likely that it would change to positive?
Take the 4th gen because that is the only useful data you can get. Your early test proves nothing.
There is no way to predict what you are asking about odds, otherwise no one would need to do a test.
