HIV windows period confusion

I did the HIV 1&2 determine test and the unigold test on the 96 days precisely. What is the window period. The tests Performed, is they the correct one....

Yes those those tests are FDA approved.

  In an adult, a positive HIV antibody test result means that the person is infected, a person with a negative or inconclusive result may be in the “window for 4 to 6 weeks but occasionally up to 3 months after HIV exposure. Persons at high risk who initially test negative should be retested 3 months after exposure to confirm results

Those that say 6 months either don't know anything about HIV or they don't keep themselves up to date. They guidelines were changed by in 2004.
