curious

So I went to an urgent care to ask the doc to check my lymph nodes ti determine if they swollen. The doc mentioned that one is a tad bit swollen but nothing of concern. He mentioned that some people just have swollen nodes throughout their life (he used a term to define it but can't remember) He mentioned that doesnt have the capability to do a HIV test at that facility but he can do a blood work.
Wbc 5.9, ly 39.1, mo 7.5 etc. He mentioned that based on my blood work everything is in its normal ranged and if I was infected he would be able to tell. He mentioned that my blood work should give more confidence that I don't have hiv, so I scheduled an annual exam with my normal to be tested. The urgent care prescribed me alprazolam for a short period of time. Tell me guys, what do u think about blood work, is it typically out of range for a newly diagnosed hiv patient?

HIV blood tests are specific, Regular medical blood tests will not test for it.
Did you have a particular exposure you are concerned about?

Hello lide
Thanks for responding but unfortunately you did not address my question. I have my annual scheduled fir Oct so I will have blood drawn then and the doc will test for HIV. My question is do recently dignosed HIV patients have unusual blood work? My doc seems believe I should be ok or at least have confidence when taking my test bc my blood work was normal.
