Does having sex after hiv exposure delay seroconversion?

6 months ago I had high risk relations, after which I tested for HIV.  It came back negative at 3 months, and I will my 6 months results tomorrow.  The situation is that, as if it wasn't irresponsable enough of me, I've had sex with a woman that I'm 100% sure that hasn't had sex with anybody else but me.  I am worried that for some reason I could test negative after 6 months and she could be infected (if she is, it was because of me).  I don't know how to express it more clearly, but I guess that what i'm trying to ask in a concrete sentence is:

" after I had high risk relations with someone else, and I tested negative after 6 months, is there a way my current partner could be infected if she has only had sex with me in these last 6 months? "

I really hope someone can answer this question because it's giving me a lot of anxiety, and I just want to make sure that she'll be ok.

I would because I've been irresponsible and dumb, I appreciate your help, and your concern.  I did check for other std's and it came out clean too.  Is there any other std that has a longer "dormant" window, like hpv ? is there a conclusive way to determine if we have hpv?

If you were negative and she was only exposed to you then she wouldn't have had a risk for HIV. But why would you put g/f at risk? Did you test for other STDs that are easier to contract and transmit?

Not with several different people, but with my girlfriend who wasn't infected before my exposure.  but that's exactly what i'm trying to clarify, if I had unprotected sex with someone else, then with my girlfriend who didn't have sex with anybody else, when do i start counting three months? from the unprotected original sex, or from the unprotected sex with my girlfriend who couldn't have been infected in any other form?

my logic is:  if i did get infected in the first place, and infected my girlfriend after that, there's no possible way she could test positive before I do, and if after 6 months after the first encounter i tested negative, she must be negative too, right?

It would not delay your seroconversion. Why would you have unprotected sex with someone else before you got your first test results back? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense now does it. If you were having unprotected sex within 3 months with several different people your test would not be conclusive until 3 months AFTER your LAST unprotected vaginal or anal sex.

Thank you.  I know it's annoying and repetitive, but I'm really worried and now i've re thought my question.  Does having sex with someone else who isn't infected after an exposure counts as an exposure if i didn't get it from the first one? and if i did, would having sex with someone who is healthy would delay in any way my results?

3 months was conclusive and if you are negative you cannot transmit something YOU don't have.
