Worried

Is it possible to have ARS symptoms at about 9th or 10th week after exposure. While having sex with CSW my condom opened and i was unprotected for hardly 1 or 2 minutes..did not cum inside her.Got HIV test at 7th week and it was negative. At 9th or 10th week i had bad diarehea which lasted for a week.Even after taking medication it did not cured and i had fever for 2 or 3 days and really was feeling weak. Was it due to ARS symptoms that appeared at 9th week is it possible. After reading the thread i got the point that ARS symptoms usually appears in between 2-4 weeks of possible exposure.Pls help me out.I had antibody test at 7th week which was negative.....

Symptoms or lack there of will not tell you your status. If you are concerned about your Pearly Penile Papules which I'm sure you self diagnosed yourself as having discuss it with your doctor.

u are starting to really freak out n0w and u need to relax, ARS happens between 2-3 weeks after exposure, not 9-10 weeks , an hiv test at 7 weeks is encouraging but not yet conclusive depending on the type of test you got. SO test at 12 weeks, which will be super conclusive and put your mind at ease for good. DO IT TEST, AND STOP FREAKING OUT ALL OVER THE FORUM

NickOne7 thanxs for replying i must admit that i am a regular drinker does this be due to heavy drinking i think so.You mean to say that the symptoms that appeared at 9th week is not due to ARS right.....oe have you heard someone getting ARS so lately after possible exposure....

Your symptoms are not due to ARS and you are right about the time frame when they come on, so as you can see it is not ARS.

Your 7 week test is a very very good indacator of your status. It is very unlikely to change at 3 months.

With that said test at 3 months and I am sure you will be NEG.
