HIV - Oral Sex - HSV 2 positive

Hi doctors,

2 weeks back I went to a massage parlor and had unprotected mammary stimulation plus protected oral sex. After the incident 3 days later I had a extreme herpes breakout right around my urethra. I also have a few raised bumps near the breakout that have yet to subside.

Since I have hsv-2 I feel worried that I am more susceptible to get HIV. Although I had a condom on I am not sure that it broke or afterwards if she cleaned me up with infected rags. I am married and very scared as this was a complete slip up and scared to sleep with my wife.

1. Do you recommend I get tested? And if so when is the earliest I can get tested and with what testing method? I believe from your previos comments 28 days can do the trick. I am worried only because of this post breakout.

2. After I ejaculated I was cleaned up and then turned over onto the towel still aroused. Can I get any STD from laying on a towel where another male could have left hpv? I am just worried about these 3 very slightly raised bumps on my penis head. The dermatologist stated these are normal and not warts.

3. Can a combination of lubricant for the mammary stimulation, lubricant from condom, cleaning agents from post ejaculation cause irritation for such a outbreak. I have had hsv2 for 8 years and never had this extreme breakout before.
Congrats on your award you have just received.

The rash and small bumps are still there I believe it was from a chemical allergic reaction to the many forms of lubricant and wipes used that night. Hopefully they will subside soon as it has been two weeks.

Wanted to say thanks for being there for all the help you provide. Not many people dedicate time to help others and I appreciate that very much.

You never put yourself at risk. Unprotected anal or vaginal or sharing works with other IV drug abusers would have been a risk.

A little of both I did not have a breakout at the time and did not think of her safety at all. I have not had a breakout for a while and thought nothing of it as I was also inebriated. I do see the message you are stating and will always take into account this experience before any actions I make.

The oral sex was protected so I hope I did not infect her and also from the mammary stimulation. I am scared that I am also at risk from HIV for being hsv2 pos and putting myself in this scenario.

So now she could have contracted HSV2 from you and pass it on. You feel ashamed or you just feel guilty for yourself?

I did not tell the massage therapist that I have hsv-2. I have told my wife.

I have never done this before and I am ashamed.
