I meant to send that to everyone, sorry.
Thanks Hope242. I'm so sorry for my anxiety driven follow up questions. I will remain working with a counselor for my phobias. I slept with my gf for the first time ever last night and after feeling my sore throat for the last 2 days it led me here because I was scared for her safety.
move along Skip...you never had a risk for HIV
I've only been smoking cigarettes for 3 months but the last week Ive been almost at a pack per day because I'm so stressed. My throat hurts really bad, feels like a lot of pressure. I'm wondering if ARS symptoms can happen at +13 weeks after exposure? It's like a sore throat I've never had before. Right right side of my abdomen/ribs hurt really bad too.
Counseling is the best option for you because its obvious that your hiv phobias have got the better of you.All the best.
Thank you all so much. I'm seeking counseling for my fears. So when u say I never needed testing because it was a "no risk exposure.". Are you assuming even if the person had HIV?
first it was a broken bottle, then it was deep kissing, and then it was a split lip, then it was 83 days, now its 83-90 day difference in testing, you never needed testing, so your testing has been conclusive from the start...
Is 84 days (12 weeks) considered the same at 3 months (~90 days)?
Lizzie - you said 1 day wouldn't make a difference so my test is conclusive. Does that mean a negative OraSure test at 83 days is conclusive?
re-read what you've been told
K thanks Lizzie. Just wanted to make sure the split lip and the fact that she bit me would be no risk and that I don't need any additional testing, correct?
I've hesitated to have sex with my new gf and want to but want to be sure I'm ok.
kindly move along...you do not have a hiv concern
She also bit my lower lip while kissing and the side of my neck. Am I still clear?! Bites have me worried a little since I'm my sure on their transmission risk. Thank you all.
Enough is enough.... You were NEVER at risk and NEVER needed testing. If you can not seem to shake your anxiety seek professional help in dealing with your HIV phobias,
There is nothing more we can add.
Kindly Move Along..
no difference and yes they are reliable.
Thanks Lizzie. So making out with lots of tongue and saliva exchange and having a split lip makes no difference?
And my test was a swab. I seances the upper and lower gum and saw some saliva bubbles on the stick after. Would the test be reliable still? I'm just wondering if those tests are reliable.
for someone who had a risk...YOU DID NOT...a test done 1 day earlier than the 3 month guideline is reliable and conclusive.
kindly move along...you do NOT have a hiv concern.
But I had a split lip at the time of kissing.
Would that make a difference?
Were my tests done at a good time for reliable results?
Irrelevant since you never had an exposure.
I've been told that numerous times. But if it had been would my tests be reliable based on testing guidelines?
You never had an exposure and never needed testing.
So I got a orasure mouth swab 83 days post exposure (deep kissing with lots of saliva exchange) so it was 1 day shy of 12 weeks. This exposure led me to have some oral symptoms after, such a's swollen white tatebud dots on the tip of my tongue and a couple white dots/sores on he side of my tongue. All of those things are gone now. I'm wondering if my test is conclusive and if I can now have we with my new girlfriend?
To add, I had a HIV antibody 1/2 test done at 8 weeks and it was negative also.
