What are the signs that go off in your head when you read others articles that it might be a cause for concern? Do you have intuition for seeing thousands of threads? .
Being that HIV can ONLY be transmitted via unprotected vaginal or anal sex, or by sharing IV drug works, we rasrely actually see anyone who has had a risk.
I want to add that the decision to tell your wife should not be made out of guilt to unburden yourself. That's a decision that sjhould be made very carefully...not because you're freaking out and think that's the answer.
Not about me just have got caught up in all this and know it's interesting to learn about for me. Fist I want to say thank you for all the advice and second I have a question. What are the signs that go off in your head when you read others articles that it might be a cause for concern? Do you have intuition for seeing thousands of threads?
Sorry I'm out of my head and this fever will just not go away its all just a coincidence( the timing this all happened) and the guilt is eating me up inside.
Will stop posting,
Have a great day!

like how many times do you need to be told? will one more time REALLY make a difference? i gave you quotes from hiv specialists...what more do you want??????
you have been assessed as not having a risk for contracting hiv. there is nothing more that we can do for you on this forum. your problem is guilt...not hiv ! ! !
I want to make myself clear here and I'm not debating anyone just clearing my mental health right know because I'm about to go home tell my wife and lose everything that I have worked for over a blow job, which is my fault so I understand the consequences. I would rather not say anything and move on but if there is the slightest I mean slightest that I can be carrying this, please tell me so I can do the right thing.
FROM THE HIV EXPERTS HERE AT MEDHELP:
"As you know from other posts about oral sex, our stance is that giving or receiving oral sex is not a risk for HIV. Some others suggest that there is an appreciable risk of HIV from oral sex however, there are no convincing scientific reports which support these statements. The presence of a burn in your mouth, or a sore, or ingestion of blood does not change this. Still no risk an no reason for testing." DR HOOK
"As far as HIV is concerned, there is no known risk of getting HIV from performing oral sex on an infected partner, even if that person's genital secretions get into your eyes or if you swallow" DR HOOK
There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex. The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way. Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk". There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".
DR. HANDSFIELD
"And oral sex is basically safe sex -- completely safe with respect to HIV and although not zero risk for other STDs, the chance of infection is far lower than for unprotected vaginal or anal sex. Please educate yourself about the real risks. If you stick with oral sex and condom-protected vaginal or anal sex, you have no HIV worries and very little worry about other STDs. " DR HANDSFIELD
"I am sure you can find lots of people who belive that HIV is transmitted by oral sex, but you will not find scientific data to support this unrealistic concern..." DR HOOK
"HIV is not spread by touching, masturbation, oral sex or condom protected sex."- DR. HOOK
in the public HIV Prevention forum of MedHelp, TEAK and the other moderators maintain that oral sex in all forms is a zero risk activity. Would you agree with this assessment?
I TOTALLY AGREE / DR GARCIA
The observation on thousand and thousand of observations is that HIV is not spread by oral sex (of any sort). DR. HOOK
"With regard to the question you ask, I will repeat, as I’ve said more times than I can think- there are NO credible cases in which persons have acquired HIV through performance of oral sex- none!!. The chance that you will be the first is ridiculously low. You are more likely to be hit by lightening while reading my reply to you. DR HOOK
"HIV is not spread by masturbation, through oral sex, through kissing or other casual contact." DR HOOK
"There is no credible evidence that HIV is spread through oral sex, with or without the presence of cuts or blood in the persons mouth."- DR HOOK
"Oral sex. there is no evidence that HIV is spread through giving or receiving oral sex"- DR HOOK
"HIV is not spread through oral sex." DR HOOK
"HIV is not spread through giving or receiving oral sex" DR HOOK
Even if your partner is +ve, oral sex is zero risk. There are no tests available that will give you a conclusive results in after 3 days.
Stop, just please listen I received oral sex on January 7th, I have had 102 fever every night since the the 14th of January, now its 4 days of fevers, no appetite, dry cough and fatigue. I just found out from this person that they are HIV +, so now about to go off the cliff! Suggestions anyone? Where do I go and get tested immediately! What is the test called, I will pay any amount of money.
TY
Ok, I believe you, its just weird that I'm knocked out with fevers, headaches, and diarrhea 7 days after this encounter with a total stranger I meet at a convention center bar.
This site isn't for debate, you had no risk, accept it or not, that's the advice on this forum, no matter how many people post the same outdated CDC link.
Not trying yo upset anyone but I found this tonight I'm up it's late and I'm tired.

Sorry to hammer down on you, you helped me years back and your a God sent from the earth from this website, the world owes you a huge TY. So you're saying that by getting a blow job, fingering and deep kissing this girl I meet, that there is not a chance I have contracted HIV, even though I went to the doctor yesterday one week later exact with a 102 fever and could not stay wake and still can't get out of bed.
No risk. HIV is not transmitted by oral sex, sores or cuts in mouth or not.
Can you have symptoms within 7 days? What if she had open cuts in her mouth?
You do not have a hiv concern.
