i have undergone hiv1 and 2 antibody rapid test after 7.5 months and another test screening for HIV1 and 2(THIS IS SCREENING METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUS QUALITATIVE DETECTION OF ANTIBODIES TO HUMAN IMMUNODEFICIENCY VIRUS TYPE 1 AND/OR TYPE 2 AND HIV P24 ANTIGEN IN HUMAN SERUM OR PLASMA USING MICROPARTICLE ENZYME IMMUNOASSAY) after 8 months. Both are negative. Should i go for another test again as my doctor (dermatology) say that i can make another check up at 12 month.i done both test in Dubai local clinic.

really happy to have your reply. could you please answer my few questions more to make myself comfortable as i was under big pressure becuase of my doctors advise of 12 months
1.when i gone to normal sex worker , i seen a little blood on bed sheet (more than 5 min in air for sure). so she spread a double folded bed sheet on it. i was laying on it and she done masturbation with condom for 5 min (i am not sure whether i was laying on that blood seen portion) and also dont think that i have any cut on my back also. But after this incident i was so scared of HIV. whats the risk factor? and also my test are conclusive in this scenario too?
2. why my dermatology doctor prefer 12 month test (he told that nothing to worry, but take 12 month test for just confirmation)?

3. i done both these test at dubai local clinics. can u tell what generation and which type was that both test?

No, you are conclusively HIV negative. Your doctor is wrong.
