New Oral Question

Hello Everyone- I know Lizzie has already reported me to Med-Help, but please understand my distress. If my post offends you that much, I am sorry, I am only human. This is hard for me trust me.

Many of you replied to my question from before about my oral risk and my sypthoms that followed and now with me avoiding my Dr. because when I go to him he keeps insisiting to take the tests  and look for the worst, he even told me that many people already know before taking the test, I said I dont KNOW.  He has me freaked out, so the board is a comfort to me.  I am So worried.

My new question is would my experiance or risk be differnt if the person was positive? I spoke with the person last night and he told me his history unlike day one and  its vast, drug user inject, and multiple women unprotected and he has not been tested. So I can quess.

So now my worry is whats my risk if he was positive? Any insight Teak? or others?

Sorry if I did something wrong. I thought I was posting a new question, asking about if the risk changed if the person was positive.

I did not mean to offend, I was just looking for a responce from you Teak, since I have not heard anything from you in regaurds to risk level. I did recieve the responce from nursegirl and that was great. And of course responces from others to my old question.

I will NO longer post to this forum.

Going through these forums like years back and reading responces made me confused. There was one about licking prefluid and risk, that there was a reponce about there could of been a risk.

Many Blessings

Thank you NurseGirl6572

I didnt know if the risk would change, last night when I heard all this I suddenly was like maybe the Dr. is right then.Maybe something happened a cut or something. Thats why I looked back at the forum.

Many people Lizzie , Vance and others have helped me lots and I appreciate all of their help.  I was just alittle upset that i was reported, it feels like being kicked when your down is all,  but I understand everyone here is just trying to help.

I even told my Dr. about the Anxiety and he just icnorged it and said lets take controll, get testesd, and its better to start on meds early if positive. So that didnt help, perhaps I will seek a second Dr. or a new forum. God Bless

Oh, and lastly....being "reported" has absolutely NOTHING to do with us being "offended"...it is based on the forum rules, which again, you need to review.

No, it doesn't make a difference if your partner was confirmed positive....the facts remain that oral sex is NOT a method of transmission, period.  A large, extensive study was performed over a 10+ year span testing serodiscordant couples whose only "risk" was unprotected oral, masturbation, kissing, etc.  NOT ONE of the previuosly HIV Neg partners became POS.

That being said, please review the forum rules.  They are there for a reason.  We understand you may be anxious...but this is not a counselling service, and once we've given you a risk assessment, that's all we can do.  You need to address your anxiety....as THAT is your problem, not HIV.
