Help

Hello,

About five months ago I engaged in protected anal sex with a male I met online. We used condoms but it broke. I immediately stopped when I felt the condom break and put on a new one. He did give me oral. I didn't give him oral. After I noticed I had a discharge from my penis and found out it was chlamydia. i have been treated and cured for the chlamydia. I was the "top". I did not *** inside of his rectum or at all for that matter. I didn't get any of the HIV symptoms and feel fine actually to this day. I went and had a test done today. I have been having extreme anxiety and everything I get an ache or a bump or anything I think it's HIV related. What are the chances that I actually got HIV from this person even though he did give me another STD. Just looking for some assurance until the test comes back negative, God willing.

Took one of those rapid HIV tests today and it came up neg. So I'm good. I also took a regular HIV test today so I will await the results of that one also. Thanks teak for your response.

You can't rely on symptoms to know if you have been infected or not. Good luck on your test results.
