High risk of HIV exposure

Guys I really need your help. Joggen, you may remember my question from September. Now I have really done something stupid, accidental but stupid. Mycircumstances are that I cannot be tested for HIV in the country I'm living in, as a positive result will mean deportation. I'm sure I got herpes in September and from time to time still get red blotches on the end of my penis, it comes and goes.

Here goes...in November I broke up with my wife, In December I went to Thailand. I had unprotected oral with 2 bar girls. Now here is my worry...in mid December I had vaginal intercourse with another bar girl. I used a condom but the girl had a very dry vagina. After sex when I withdrew my penis I noticed to my horror that the condom had broken off leaving the 'bell-end' of my penis exposed. Whether the condom broke on insertion, withdrawal or somewhere inbetween I dont know. I have been reading about aids in Thailand and I'm so scared. It gets worse...

I got back together with my wife on December 24th and we had sex (unprotected) on the first day. Although I didnt have syptoms my wife complained a couple of days later of painful burning when she urinated and the frequency of her urination increased. The next day I felt a mild burning but it may have been paranoia. She went to the doctor and had a urine test, many bacteria was found and the doctor suggested I have the same urine test, which I did and again many bacteria was found. The doc prescribed us both a 7 day course of Ciprofloxacin. We were tested after the course of antibiotics and my wife had 'occasional bacteria' and I had 'few bacteria'. The doc said we were ok and sent us away. My wife also had peeling skin inbetween her legs next to her vagina lips but she thought it may have been from riding a bike while wearing a panty liner. Of course I did not tell her what happened in Thailand, and she does not know about the herpes either.

I have read that there is a strain of hiv (type e) in thailand which is both very common and very contagious. It has been almost 1 month since my exposure and I have not had any noticable symptoms like flu or anything but I'm extremely worried that I might have HIV.

Please please please give me some advice guys. Thanks in advance.

Oh and if you have sex with your wife, it should be with a condom until you get tested.

We can't tell you high risk low risk or anything like that. If the woman was HIV positive then we can say high risk, if she was not then it is no risk. But we don't know anything about the woman or even the HIV rate in that country and if others are like you then testing is not happening.

As you have been told we can only advise you to get tested.

i understand that lizzie. I wont be deported, because of my loan i will instead spend the rest of my days in a certain middle eastern jail. If it was a simple matter of deportation i would be tested already. The fact is i cant be tested until march, which is when im next allowed to leave this country for a vacation. In the mean time, could you please just tell me do you think i am at high risk for hiv?

i'm sorry that your condom failed and that you would face being deported if you tested positive...but the fact remains that you could have "potentially" put your wife at risk by having unprotected sex with her.

i dont know what kind of "advice" you are looking for.  unfortunately you had condom failure and the only way to know your status is by TESTING.  symptoms mean nothing as the symptoms of infection are also associated with MANY common everyday illnesses.

i can only guess that i have herpes. As i mentioned to joggen before the country im living in means i cant be tested. If i test positive for any std i must by law be tested for hiv, again if i test positive for hiv by law i will be deported, and as i have a bank loan by law i will go to jail. Maybe you think i deserve to rot in jail but i wore a condom for a reason, i never intended to break! Thanks for the 'advice'.

i'm sorry BUT that is EXACTLY what you said:  these are your words:

"i'm sure i got herpes in september"

"i broke up with my wife in november"

".in mid December I had vaginal intercourse with another bar girl. I used a condom but the girl had a very dry vagina. After sex when I withdrew my penis I noticed to my horror that the condom had broken off leaving the 'bell-end' of my penis exposed."

"I got back together with my wife on December 24th and we had sex (unprotected) on the first day."

my advice stands !

so what you're saying is that you contracted HERPES and had unprotected vaginal sex with a hooker...and then turned around and had unprotected sex with your wife?

DO NOT HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX WITH YOUR "WIFE" AGAIN UNTIL YOU GET A 3 MONTH NEGATIVE TEST RESULT ! ! ! ! ! !
