Unprotected Anal-Broken Condom

A week ago I had my first encounter with another male. I was the top and he the bottom and the condom broke. I realized this at the end. The encounter lasted a total of less than 5 minutes, thugh I know that probably makes no difference. Once we realized the condom broke, I freaked out. That is when he then showed me evideence that he was hiv- and had been tested that same day. I saw this document and coffirmed this was his name. I have been unable to sleep at night and am overcome with anxiety. I was last tested for hiv in august and was hiv-. This was my first act ever since then. My first question is: What are the odds/chances of me being infected statistically? Does it even matter he was hiv- that same day? Does it matter that he says his last encounter was about 3 months ago? How soon can I go get tested? Would it be of any help getting tested two weeks after the high risk exposure? Please help me and thanks to all who contribute to this discussion board. Thanks again.  SOrry for the long post...

Thank you for the quick response during desperate times...I am definitely going to be tested, just hoping I could go right now and have a somewhat accurate test.

All responses are welcome of course.

relax...my suggestion is to get tested at 13 weeks for a conclusive results..
however, the odds are on your side as the person got tested the same day and he was negative..however, if he had any exposure after the 3 month mark prior of getting tested, he may still be at risk..
thats the reason you shud get tested regardless..however, i reckon you will be allright :)
