Hiv test result one year

How reliable a hiv test result after one year? i recently test negative but im afraid that i might be positive. Im planing to get tested again. My GP doesnt seem to be as worried as i am.
Brackground story: i had sex with a CSW and the condom broke, About three months later i had what i believe were ARS symptoms(sores in the mouth, painful joints/ muscles, sore throat, stomach ache, discoloration in the mouth). and now i have developed a yellow tongue, which i believe to be oral thrush.

please help

It is true it is ridiculous to test over and over again you are searching for something that is not there at all. For me it was just an experience in life be grateful that you are negative. If you're at 3 months you should feel more confident okay. Just relax i don't think a deadly virus would take years to show up in one's system. Eventually you'll feel better about it. Take it easy with the anxiety that can trigger a lot of nerve problems.

Me too.. got results at 17 days, 64 days, and 93 days and all negative and I still plan to test more. I can't shake it. It's ruining me.
It is abnormal to test repeatedly for something after you are conclusively negative. You know all the facts that anyone can and needs to know.

Consider therapy for your HIV phobia. instead of hoping you can hunt around the internet and find some new information - because new information won't happen.
It's okay to feel anxious and scared after all we are just humans. I remember the first months of feeling like that. It'll pass with the time
