To catch everyone up from my last two posts, I had unprotected sex with a 19 year old I met at a college party and 3 weeks later I was tested (and was told on here it was too early to tell and to check again).
I realize the internet can be one's worst enemy, which makes it ironic I'm posting on here. But I was just wondering about lymph nodes. I guess I can say I've been paranoid since the encounter (looking up symptoms, reading other posts on here) even though I'm sure my risk of exposure was very low, seeing how she was a non-drug using student.
I've recently developed swollen lymph nodes (which I am aware can be an indication for a variety of things, not just HIV). They are kind of hard and with a tiny bit of pain. I am wondering if this can be due to my allergies or possibly me checking them too often from being paranoid.
Thanks
swollen lymph nodes due to ars are NOT painful. usually they are large enough that you dont have to GO LOOKING for them.
swollen lymph nodes due to ars are not localized...but are generalized...all over the body.
the only way to know one's status is by testing.
