Is a uk gum clinic hiv test accurate for hiv-1 and hiv-2?

Hi all have posted a while back about HIV and the anxiety i had over it.

The person i had sex with was African on holiday with condom but could of fell off at end that's why im thinking about HIV-2

I ended up getting tested 7-8 months post exposure in a uk gum clinic and it came back negative.

my question is do uk gum clinics test for HIV-2 now as standard and if so can i defiantly put this behind me?

I have pretty much gotten over all this but now again i get things that make me think back to the HIV scare ever since January i have been getting muscle aches and joint pain and clicking joints all over my body along with ulcers on my tongue and now i am getting spot like things on my face which are not zits they are like little sores that scab over does this sound like HIV symptoms or am i reading too far into it?

thaks ian

I wanted to know this too. But I never got a definitive answer as such. His results are reliable and conclusive, but did they test for HIV2? Easy question.
