Likeliness to be HIV infected?
Hi, I am a guy and recently I have an unprotected sex (penile-vaginal intercourse) and unprotected oral sex with a Vietnamese sex worker. I was given PEP medication after 28 hours. May I know if i complete the 30-days PEP medication course and undergone HIV test, is the result conclusive with 95% confidence? And based on my situation, what is the likelihood of me getting infected with HIv? I have done some calculation on my own.

You have already counted the chances. No one can exactly calculate chances of you infecting with HIV. You should get tested with 4th gen ag/ab

Hi NikLobat, may i know whether PEP medication might give false negative to the 4th gen ag/ab test at 4th weeks after post exposure? Thank you.
