That,s not true.Even if you were taking Augmentin it wouldn,t affect the ability of an hiv test to detect antibodies, your safe and your test results are conclusive.

Hi,
For the above symptoms I was taking Augmentin 1g. After one week course I was tested blood. HIV 1 &2 negetive and VDRL negetive. I am having doubt during the course of antibiotic HIV is detectable on blood.

Yes you can be totally confident with this test result that you are HIV negative.  3 months post exposure is considered conclusive.  Most people develop antibodies by an avergage of 22 days and test positive shortly after this.

Your symptoms have NOTHING to do with HIV.

My last un prtected sex was @ sep'2009, my last test was 06.08.2011. The reult shows all are negetive. I can be confident without worries. As you advised I will not commit such thing again.

If those tests were done 3 months post the unprotected exposure then your safe and you can move on with your life. There is only a chance of hiv infection in the future is if you place yourself at risk again.
