OraSure Oral test

A negative OraSure Oral test, one year past possible exposure should be conclusive "one is HIV negative" right?  I have a burning sensation in my feet, wrist, and cheeks.  Feels like a sunburn but not even red.  Doctor has ruled out B-12 & diabetes and doesn't really have any other ideas.

Just can't get PN and HIV out of the back of my mind.

Thanks in advance

Hi there

Like any other HIV screening test, the OraQuick test is also about the presence of antibody in reaction to HIV. The difference is that the OraQuick rapid test uses oral fluid to perform the test. The result is reliable.

A test anytime after 3 months is considered conclusive. You don't have HIV unless you've had some other exposure within 3 months of taking the test...
