Pleasehelp fear of HIV

Please help
I went to a party the day my grandmother died. Have way to much drugs and buzz. Past out only to wake up with my husbands and my old friend from high school on top of me. I ran out and never looked back. I can't remember that night. My husband came home from the army and him an I had sex. I told him what happened and he thinks I just cheated on him. When I am already depressed about what happened. So I got tested and tested positive for chlamydia and negitive Afro HIV. That was about a month after it happened. Then I got tested three months after it happened and it came back negitive as well. But I'm sooo scared I have it. My husband was going to leave me today. But I convinced him to stay and try to work past that terrible day. But if I have HIV I know he will leave me. We have two kids. And My kids and my marriage is all I live for. I'm so scared I will lose everything I love over a night I can't even remember. I love my husband. I love him so much and I'm dieing inside.

Even if the guy was hiv+ (which he most likely was NOT) then your risk would still only be 1/600 IF he ejaculated inside you. Lower if not.

3 months is 100%. Many experts say 6 weeks is 99% accurate.

Move on and focus on your family. I hope your husband learns to forgive you the way my wife forgave me...

Idk. I just can't think of anyother way to get the fear to stop. I've tried twice before and it just won't go away. I have anxiety and stress disorder and this is really making me sick.

you were told that 3 months is conclusive and further testing is not needed.  why are you asking if you should get testing again ? ? ?

Should I get tested again? I moved to another state with my husband. A place I know nothing about. I was doing very well until this fear came back again full force.

In an adult, a positive HIV antibody test result means that the person is infected, a person with a negative or inconclusive result may be in the “window for 4 to 6 weeks but occasionally up to 3 months after HIV exposure. Persons at high risk who initially test negative should be retested 3 months after exposure to confirm results

Thank you guys so much. I had read a while back that you have to wait 6months to be in the clear. I'm driving myself crazy with worry.

your test at 3 months post exposure is FULLY conclusive.  this means that further testing is NOT needed.  your test PROVES...without a doubt...that you do NOT have hiv.
