Scared of the symptoms I am showing

I have had some risk exposure - oral (unprotected) and vaginal (protected) with a sex worker a number of times over past year or so. Last episodes were May 22 (oral and vaginal), June 11 (oral and vaginal) and June 14 (oral).

- dizziness/vertigo started about 4 weeks ago (this has been the main symptom and it has been pretty much constant for the past 4+ weeks).
- one small pimple like bump at base of penis, no other rashes/sores etc.
- had some flushness/hot feeling in face that came and went, but no fever
- some minor tenderness in jaw glands. seems to come and go.
- over the past number of days have a mild sensation on right of groin (enlarged nodes?) that moved to both sides, and progressed to tingling in groin and testicles. Eventually some minor pain in testicles (3 out of 10 on pain scale).
- today woke up with enlarged glands on back of neck, jaw glands also feel enlarged.

I am quite scared about these symptoms, can you provide any insight into whether this may be ARS/HIV? I know it has to be done, but I am dreading having a HIV test.
Many thanks.

I dont know why i am so scared to test. i go for other tests and am not that worried about those. i guess it comes down to feeling guilty about causing this on myself and if its positive how it would just ruin my life.

NO risk= NO testing.  As long as you haven't had unprotected vaginal or anal sex, or shared IV drugs, you don't need to test for HIV.  Simple as that!

You never had an exposure and you do not need testing.

Sorry last post i promise, i know you guys dont like over posting.

I have to work up the courage to get tested.

Again i've only ever had protected with vaginal as my only "risk". I dont remember a condom breaking but it may have.

Still feeling generally off. My nodes under my jaw/chin seem quite large. i have some puffiness/irritation under my armpits (cant really tell about the nodes there) and my groin nodes also mildly ache. The groin nodes ached quite a bit a few weeks ago when i had a cold. Also i have a dry mouth.

I'm still so freaked out. I've read that swollen nodes in those areas together is a potential early symptom of HIV (after ARS).

If you are concerned about your symptoms see a doctor. You don't have an HIV concern.

I think if i was infected it would have been earlier this year or late last year. I do not remember a condom breaking but I have had protected vaginal with some sex workers. Could my symptoms be from AIDS onset? I think it is too late for them to be ARS at this point.

Thanks for the reply.

I cant seem to shake whatever I have. Dizziness and general unwellness continues. My jaw nodes are not swollen but a bit tender. I feel like i have an ear infection too but doctor doesnt see anything. I have a bit of dull light pain in my groin and testicles.

Could all this be related to HIV/AIDS infection - that my immune system is weak or something. I feel like I have a different symptom everyday.

As long as vaginal sex was protected and condom did not break then you did not have a risk.

Most people don't know what an enlarge node feels like. But your symptoms are unrelated to HIV.

Again NO RISK
