unprotected vaginal exposure

hi i m a male and have an unprotected vaginal sex with a woman with too low risks to be hıv positive. I m her second partner and before that she just had sex in her three year lasting relationship.  7 days later i feel ill i dont have high fever maybe just a little and it stayed for a week , but also this can be caused by staying wet in cold weather. to be more spesific i think i have little fever in some days and have cough and runny nose . 2 weeks before i had sex with my girl friend unprotected for 30 seconds or something like that . after 3 days she had a sore throat and its lasting for a week . ı'm wondering about your thought about if those sympthoms can be related with ars . Generally they say 2-4 weeks . Does 2 week start after 14+ days or 7+
thank you

The main symptoms of ARS are unquestionably these 3 things. A sore throat (severe sore throat), high temperatures and fevers and a diffuse red rash that effects most of the body particularly the trunk and the limbs. You do not describe any of these symptoms. However many people have no symptoms and although it remains extremely unlikely that you have contracted HIV through this event, if you remain worried then the only way to be certain is through an HIV test. Take a DUO at 4 weeks for peace of mind followed up by an antibody test at 12 weeks for conclusive results.

If one has ARS, it comes on 2-4 weeks post exposure and lasts 1-2 weeks. So the answer is yes, it is to early.

ARS is not diagnosed until after one has tested and confirmed HIV positive.

You can obtain your conclusive negative test results 3 months post exposure.

Uprotected sex needs to testing. Symptoms are not tbe\\he best way to diagnose HIV. Test at 13 weeks post exposure to get the accurate result.
