Thanks Teak and All on this forum who spend their time to educate people and help them to go over their anxieties
Thanks Teak.
So if the oil was used and condom did not break testing is not required right.
1. myth.. oil weakens latex and can cause them to fail. They don't get microscopic holes.
2. NO
All,
Thanks for the information. I have some more questions
1) This is about oil based lubricant and condom. I have seen lots of different information on this like oil will make microscopic holes that will allow HIV to pass through. If the condom did not break if an oil based lubricant was used, is this a no risk activity. Is testing required.
2) Will saliva on the outer side of condom nullify the effect if the oil was used to lubricate the vagina. I am almost sure oil was not used on me but not sure if she had.
Please let me know your valuable comments.
Thanks for all the support you people provide on this forum
I'm not to sure as to why it's advisable to roll back foreskin during condom application. To be honest I haven't ever heard or read any material elucidating this matter in specifics. Yes, it has been studied that uncircumcised males are at higher risk of contracting HIV, however in your case, this is NOT a concern as you were using a condom. You should be proud that you've been practicing safe sex :)
As aforementioned, and I'm sure some of the more erudite regulars like Teak & Lizzie will confirm this; is that as long as your condom was intact, you were NOT at risk regardless of circumcised or uncircumcised. In the future however, as one uncircumcised male to another, it would be a good idea to pull back your foreskin a bit when placing a condom on your penis.
as long as the condom did not rupture and the head of mr. willie was covered...you practiced safe sex.
Please let me know why its recommended to fold the foreskin before putting on a condom
Hi there,
From what you described, you are not at risk of HIV infection.
Cheers!
