Need some information

Dear Dr. So here is my story. I am a 31 year old male from new york(westchester county). I have drien myself to the brink of a nervous breakdown. I have been with the same girl for over 8 years and both have been faithful. We have had unprotected sex and  a couple of times anal with ejaculation for all of that time. She recently had a full work up for all stds and hiv all negative. Before my wife I had sex a couple of times with csws protected with no breakage.  In 2004 I had a rash on my chest and a little on my back. No other symptoms nor did I feel sick. The rash did not have pimples which I see is common with ars rash. So now to my questions. If I had hiv for this much time would I have had problems or illnesses which would have led to diagnosis and if so what. Second question is it realistic that she could have not been infected over that whole time. thank you in advance.

Symptoms or lack of will never tell you your status. The only way to know your status is by testing.

So from your personal experience what does it look like. My concern is the rash I had in my hell raising days of stupidity. Please let me know and I will make it my last questions. Thank you again.

ARS rash does not look like bumps (per experience). Now what are you concerned about?

You have never had an exposure and pimples have nothing to do with HIV.
