White Blood Count

Hello-

I am scheduled--finally after waiting which seems like an eternity--for my 3mo finger prick HIV test on Tuesday next week.  Wish me the best...

My question is this (potential exposure occurred in late Sept 2011), if my WBC in mid Oct was 6.5, and just a few days ago tested at 10.7, approximately 2 1/2 months ago difference in time, could this be an indication of HIV infection?  I've heard both ways that during serconverion it drops dramatically, then rises slowly, and vise versa.  Does anyone know how this works?  I know there are many factors relative to this question that may alter the reults, such as everyone's body reacts differently, certain strains, amount of viral load, etc; but would like to know if there is any data that shows averages, or results of those infected, how their WBC curve reacts during these beginning stages--1-12 weeks.

I appreciate the support and your time.

Best Regards - AnxiousMan
