Worried Sick!!! could i have HIV???

hello,
i am a 25yr old gay male from Bangalore, India..
i had sex with a gay man of same age, he was the top and he came inside me (this was the first time i EVER tried bareback sex)
the only reason i agreed was coz he is a doctor.. i know that was wrong and i would never do it again..

next day i forced him to get himself tested.. so we both went to the hospital and got tested..
He tested NEGATIVE for HIV and so did I..

but this morning i got a headache. it was there for an hour or so.. is this ARS???
now i dont have a headache but i am really anxious..

i cannot wait for 6 weeks..
here in India the DUO test and PCR tests are very expensive.. although the RAPID test is free.. i dont know what to do.
plz help me

actually,
i have known him and his family for 2 years, and EVERYTIME we have used protection except this one time..

we are **** buddies and monogamous (at least that's what he says)..

he wanted to try bareback just to get the feel of it..
i stupidly agreed

he maintains that he does not sleep around with anyone else.. he also says that he has never tried bareback before.. but one cannot trust anyone these days..

thanks guys anyway
all i can do now is wait. will let you all know my status..

thanks

As you were advised, you need to get yourself tested after the specified period. Next time, never ever unprotected sex, not even with a doctor, doctors are also human being and can catch virus. A spot negative test of anyone's partner may not guarantee that he/she is not infected because that could be done within window period and may come false negative

Can't say what chances you have/had...it's a risk. Doesn't matter who is he. I would think a Dr would use condoms.

3 months is when you can have a conclusive test.

thanks lizzi
but what could be my chances??
considering he is HIV negative AND he is a doctor..

i know i did have risk (coz of the 6 weeks during which HIV cannot be detected)

but what would you say is the probability?
low? or high?

"i cannot wait for 6 weeks"

you have no choice unless you pay for the duo.

next time...wear condoms and you wont be in this position ! ! !
