Worried

Hi I had gone to a massage parlour about 8 weeks back, i just fingered the lady, i have a habit of biting my nails and also sometimes have cuts on my finger skin due to that,

i had fever after 3 days of the same, the fever went away in 2 days time but i read about the symptoms of HIV post exposure and have been worried since then, after around 4 weeks of exposure i noticed i had a swollen lymph in my neck just under the chin and also behind my jaws, i also had a white patch kind of a thing on my throat, and heavy itching on my chest area which caused rashes, sine then i have been worried and been poking all parts of my body to check for some swollen nodes and all, i have also had some hot flashes in my neck,  also 2 days back had some pain in my thigh at just a particular area, can that be a swollen lymph there, i am really worried, plesae help, i got tested at 4 weeks which came out to be negative

hiv can only infect a very few, very specific types of cells. these cells are not found in your finger. if you had a cut on your finger larger enough, open enough and bleeding enough to be a real pathway to cells that hiv CAN infect, believe me, you wouldn't be sticking it into some woman's vagina.

No. It's actually beyond my understanding because I am sure in the last 8 weeks you have already found out that there has been not even single reported case of an individual acquiring the virus in the fashion you mention above, what makes you think, you're going to be the first one in the history of this disease?

Please refrain from searching "HIV" on the internet, accept the assistance and move on.

See your doctor for determining the cause. We can only tell you that HIV is not causing it.

You never a risk of contracting HIV from fingering, even if you bite your fingernails, pull your hangnails, have abrasions or cuts.
