anabolic steroids use and hiv test

Hi all
I wish to know before my exposure I was an anabolic steroids users 1.5 years back . Is this much time enough to get rid of steroids from the system .

Also people say they can mess the results but is it when the person is on the anabolic steroids during exposure or WAS A ANABOLIC STEROID USER long time back . I read that anabolic steroids stay in system for 3-4 months and 6 months is long enough time to get  rid of it from the body. Is 1.5 years good enough time to get rid of it from the system . My frequent 6-7 hiv duo lab based tests negatives post PEP . So I last tested 17.5 weeks post PEP  or (5 months ) 150 days from the exposure and tested NEGATIVE till now

Cdc guidelines Say 1,3 and 6 months post exposure in terms of non occupational exposure but in there website it says they are making changes but still they havnt made any change
Already they made changes in occupational exposure @,3 months post PEP if fourth gen test is used

UK and Canadian guidelines say 12 weeks post PEP .
WHO says one and three months post exposure in terms of PEP .
Australian guidelines the same .
The European guidelines say 12 weeks post PEP .
New York Washington aids institute says 12 weeks post PEP .
Only American cdc is saying 1,3 and 6 months post exposure .now what to believe in
