Symptoms mean nothing.Testing is gold and is all that counts. All the best
Thanks you so much guys, I am going to try and just get on with life now untill the big test day, and not worry myself to death over symptoms.
3 months post exposure is when you can obtain your conclusive negative test result.
Anxiety is a very common cause of stomach problems, as is a tight feeling or lump in the throat. And they are some of the THE most commonly reported symptoms of it. Try and keep occupied, and look for relaxation resources, there are plenty of free ones on the internet to start with, they can be a big help.
Remember, no one was ever diagnosed with HIV by their symptoms, that shows how reliable they are, only a test will tell you your status. Your symptoms are not particularly indicative of initial HIV anyway.
Get tested at 4 weeks by DUO test to put your mind at rest, and then again at 3 months if you require that further reassurance.
And to save yourself this worry again do yourself a favour and use condoms if you cannot trust your partners.
Testing at 4-6 weeks post exposure will give you a good indication of your status, follow up at 3 months for a conclusive result. Do ever go by symptoms, stress and anxiety can be the cause as well...
