hiv risk after single unprotected exposure with no ejaculation

Hello, I had sex with a man, in his late 20s and African-American. We had unprotected sex for approx. 20 seconds (he did not ejaculate but might have had precum), after which I panicked and went in the tub to rinse with water, and we then had sex with a condom and he ejaculated in the condom. I am very worried and would like to know what the community thinks of the risk of contracting hiv in this instance. I have just done an hiv test, but this is just 16 days after exposure, would the result still be valid?
thanks a lot for your answer(s).

3 months post exposure is when you can obtain a conclusive negative test result.

But don't they say that 2 weeks after exposure, 50% of people develop antibodies?

I know that... unfortunately one doesn't always act according to what they know.
I have done all the testing for the other stds too. would you say that the risk for HIV is minimal though, or not?

It was a risk. Always use condoms for vaginal and anal sex correctly and consistently and you'll avoid contracting HIV and most STD. It's that simple.

Thanks teak, but what do you think about the risk?

It was to early to test for HIV. You'll need to test three months post exposure for HIV and you also need to test for STDs which are a lot easier to contract than HIV.
