confused on risk level

Recently I had protected vaginal sex with a csw in the US.  Was a stupid mistake, but now that im living with it and have gotten past it I have begun to worry about HIV risk.  I did not remove the condom properly ie i had touched the outside of the condom with my bare hand and afterwards used the same hand to clean off my penis.  Also, I am uncircumcised and used soap and water (which i have confusingly read INCREASES infection chance although in the study soap was never mentioned?).  Am I at serious risk for HIV?  I am at around 5 weeks and I am going to get tested, I did come down with a couple mild fevers a few weeks earlier.  Pls if anyone has thoughts on this it would be of great help to me.

Was the study on protected individuals?  Or ones who were not?

there was some study done in uganda (google it) that using water to clean increased hiv infection rate (slightly, but statistically sig.)  but there was no mention of soap.  the idea i guess being that keeping the area moist longer increased infection odds.  soap of course should instantly kill the virus...but i couldnt find a mention of that in any of those studies and articles.

Sorry to hijack the forum, but it's correct that soap and water after protected sex to wash off the penis does NOT increase the risk?  Thank goodness.  Why did another member post that?  It scared me to death.

you did not have an exposure for hiv..
you had protected sex, and the touching outside of condom then penis situation is not a risk..
using soap or water does not increase the chance of infection..
you had NO risk..you DONT need a test
