Worried as Hell about HIV......

3 Months ago i had unprotected oral and vaginal sex with a sex worker.  The very next day i was getting a tingling sensation on the tip of my penis and was very worried.  Went to the Doctor and was given antibiotics and test were done for STD'S.  All which can back negative.  Compounded was the stress that my wife was due to come back from Europe soon... about 3 1/2 weeks after the mistake i told my wife as she did not return.  The following symptoms i've noticed are: swollen gland in neck, discharge from the outer corner of the eyes, nausea, loss of appetite and weight(15lbs), body tingling, oily skin around nose and small pimples that pop up in different places on my body, always singular. Also i've been feeling joint pains in my knees as well as muscle pains... Also 4 to 5 weeks after the act, noticed to bumps in my pubic region and went to the doctor.  I was told it was HPV, haven't had any since...
I have had HIV testing done at the 4 week, 8 week and both have come back negative...

I'm really scared, what advice could you give?

Bro, you need to remember, you put yourself at a HIGH risk and this time, it appears tht you were lucky. 8 weeks test is almost certain tht you didn't contract HIV frm this episode. To be sure and NEVER have to deal with this again, use a PROPER Latex Condom the right way and you're in the clear.
Smile.
=)
Also, stp worrying and I bet all your symptoms go away.

Hi Dummy180,

Your 8 weeks negative test makes it highly unlikely you have hiv. The majority of people who are truly infected generally test positive by 6 weeks.

It is already 3 months. Do a test now to know for sure. The test will be conclusive.

If your conclusive test is negative as well, you can rest assured that all your symptoms are not related to hiv.

All the best, and take care.

May God bless
