If you had unprotected sex or are an intravenous drug user get tested.  As for your symptoms, as Worried stated, symptoms mean nothing, swollen glands dont hurt, however, usually you ll have a lot of different swollen nodes throughout your body, that is not only the ones on your neck, but your arm pits, and other places as well, ect. Most doctors I ve spoken to have told me that the swollen of the lymph nodes occurs in areas that are not adjacent to each other, however, even if this is the case it doesnt mean its hiv alot of common infections do this as well. The only way to know is to get tested, that is if you engaged in unprotected sex or needle sharing.

Most dont show symptoms at all. Symptoms are meaningless really, dont try to diagnose yourself based on symptoms, it will drive you nuts. Swollen nodes have been around long before HIV was in existence. Peeling skin is caused by lots of things.

If you had a real risk (unprotected anal or vaginal sex, IV drug user) then go get tested. Thats the only way to know your status for sure.
