oral exposure followed by textbook symptoms

Hi, I imagine I'll get short answers hear. I know the answer but my symptoms are very real. A year ago I gave a man deep oral sex, maybe for 5 minutes. He didn't ejaculate. Then 11 days later I got ill, diarrhea and no appetite. Swollen glands, pinky rashes on fac, and what looked like shingles inside my elbow very briefly. I was laid out in bed for the best part of a week. My wife then came down with a less severe form of this a week later, she had swollen glands but no rash. Since this time we have both had some swollen glands on and off, her in her neck and me in groin and under arms. I have been reading this site for the entire time post exposure, in the forum it's always said no risk, initially this was Dr hook and doctor hansfields response also but recently they seem to have changed opinion from "no need to test" to "HIV is rarely transmitted this way". As my glands are raised again I thought it would be remiss of me not to ask again, so hopefully rainlover could you reassure me that this is indeed no risk and that my symptoms are none specific. I know I am irrational but it's incredibly mentally draining when the doubt is in your mind, especially when you are concerned for another's health. Also people seem to ask these questions a lot but never follow up. Has anybody ever messaged back with a positive test result after asking these questions regarding oral only exposure. I apologize profusely for asking the oral question, I know it annoys everyone.

I understand, thank you for the reassurance. I know it pisses everybody off but your words help me.

the symptoms of are are the same symptoms of many common, everyday illnesses.  there is no way anyone can diagnose hiv based on symptoms alone, and since you had NO RISK, you are doing exactly that.

"i am too scared to test"   you don't need testing

Not sure what more you would want us to tell you. Dr.Hook's stance has been the same, Dr.HHH his stance is also the same for the most part, his words very from time to time but in the end it is the same stance.

I know what you're saying. I am too scared to test. I don't know what to say, I know I'm not a HIV expert either, I am sorry for saying textbook symptoms, please understand all I can go off is what I have read elsewhere online (practically every spare minute of the day), am I wrong in assuming these are the symptoms. I don't want to argue the case here sorry I've been dying inside with uncertainty. Sorry

so what has your dr said about this?  surely, after a year of "textbook symptoms" you have been to a dr to see what is going on.

as you expected..."you had no risk"
