please guys need your help
I had unprotected vaginal sex with a prostitute 8 weeks ago. It was like for 20 seconds. After 16 days of exposure I develped acute tonsilitis along with sinusitis since last 5 weeks, I have taken full course antibiotics azithromycin and amoxicillin but the tonsilitis won't go away, Its already 6 weeks since I had tonsilitis and I have never had sore throat this long.I used to have tonsilitis since I was a child and it always used to go after administration of antibiotics but this is the longest and it hasn't gone after administration of 2 different antibiotics. Could this sore throat be due to acute hiv infection which has compromised my immune system so it won't heal away? I am going crazy thinking all these stuff and the throat pain hasn't improved at all,the doctor diagnosed me as tonsillo pharyngitis and reading on the net it seems that it is mainly caused by virus than bacteria (also HIV causes them was written on it). What's going on with me, am I infected? I am from south asia and I did 4th generation test twice once after 3 weeks of exposure and the other after 7 weeks of exposure and the result came out non reactive both the time. What's wrong with me? Your genuine answers will ease me a lot. THANKS !!

When shall the tests be confirmatory? The tests i took were 4th generation ag ab screening tests (combo)
Yes you were at risk but a very low risk. Any unprotected vaginal or anal sex places you at risk. On a positive note your 7 week test is negative. If your sore throat was due to HIV your test would have been positive. Your symptoms are not HIV but a good old fashioned bacterial infection hence the antibiotics. It may even be viral (but not HIV) in which case the antibiotics will be useless anyway.
