hi guys on jan 11 i had one min of sexual intercourse with an married woman (drunk) 3 weeks later i have had genital itching stomach cramps and now at 4 months i have a dry sore throat for the last few weeks , i have fatique two, the worring thing is my wife has had cramps in the morning all the time and has fatique no get up and go and told me she has dry sore  throat all the time two. could we both have a bacterail infection that is or only symptons , thanks guys for your help

ars symptoms come at 2-4 weeks post infection and lasts for 1-2 weeks

this forum is hiv specific so i'll address that risk.

your partner doesnt sound to be in a high risk group.  that, coupled with the fact that contracting hiv from a woman is not as "easy" as the other way around AND your exposure was minimal...i'd say that your risk for contracting HIV is very low.

with that being said...the ONLY way to know your status is by testing at the appropriate time.  you can test now for a conclusive result.

yes shouldnt have happend  was no more than a min. going to get tested next week , scares me to think what exposure i have put my wife at
