HIV test at 6 weeks 4th generation test

Hi,

I had an exposure on March 23rd, and after exactly one month, i fell on fever with a swollen lymph node which was there for about 15 days, then after this i had rashes only in my legs. I had protected sex (3 condoms) with one whom i did not know. After 6 weeks I have developed mouth sores. What is the probability that I am affected with HIV and how much accurate can I be on the 6 week HIV antigen and antibody test (4th Generation HIV test).

Please help me I am worried a lot and cannot come out of this.

Thank you.

7 weeks is a strong indicator that you are negative. Try to relax and do a final test at 12 weeks plus. You are almost 100% negative.

if you are going to continue to test 3 months is conclusive
BUT as lizzie has stated you had no risk except for wearing 3 condoms???????????
whatever thats the only real risk you where in was the condom rupture are you positive you didnt rupture them?????????????? because you seem to worried from having protected SEX

unless you had condom failure...the odds are zero.

you had protected sex...

dont ever wear more than one condom at a time.  the friction of them rubbing against each other can cause a rupture.  one latex condom...worn correctly...is all that it takes :)
