Worried and confused over chest discomfort.......

In the last couple weeks, Things have been crazy.  It started with  congestion that convient care said was bronchittis, no test or xrays, just listend to my lungs... two days later i started to miscarry, a dc was done a day later.  no bleeding and no problems after dc.  a few days later, a tooth ache (one i've been babying and ignorning for over a year now) finally had me at the dentist to find out i had two infected wisdom teeth and are being sent to an oral surgeon.   a few days after that, i was at starting to work and felt short of breath just driving.....  i went back home and used an albuterle inhaler i've used when i had bronchitis..  felt better....  at work, walking through out shop i was getting short of breath......  could times sitting at my desk it felt like i needed to breathe deeper to get more breathe...  at home that nice..... i was just sitting on the couch watching a movie with my son and suddenly felt like i couldn't inhale enough again....  i went up stairs and though a hot shower would help... and used the inhaler again.... after the shower i began to feel tingly i sat down and felt like i was gonna pass out.....  i called a girl friend to take me to the ER.  In the car on the way to the ER i kept feeling like i was going to pass out......  when we got to the ER  my oxygen levels were 99, and blood presure was 169 over 96.  very very high for me... they took chest xray and ekg and said both were good and also blood work for blood clot and said that was negative.... they sent me home saying it was an anxiety attack......  two days later i woke up feeling alitt congested but dry cough... tried some coffee to loosen it up and nothing...... was wheezing, but only on xhale and  slightly.... we were under blizzard watch so i went to the ER to make sure nothing bad was going to happen before storm him.. they have me breathing treatment, did another ekg and another xray  said again both showed really good... they also check my blood to see if i had heart faiilure i beleive or something to check for that and said it was good.......  he said he beleives i have an infection that is inflaming my trachea making me feel like i cant breathe.....

what i'm worried about is this...... i was put on penicillin and 800 mg ibu. for pain from dentist.....  first er gave me Valium, and not this docot game me dexamethasone and smz/tmp ds.  he said to keep taking the penicillin also and the ibuprofen was fine if i needed it for the tooth pain...

i am still feeling the tighness in my chest   still feel short of breath... I cant help worrying that it is something more that they are missing....  the pain is sometimes centralized right in the middle of my chest and sometimes on both side of my upper chest.  I'm concerend about the shortness of breath cause i started feeling it when i was pregnant but thought it was the pregnany and the amount of blood you gain when you are pregnant......  but i only remember it once or twice and it was really cold out also... so kinda thought that was the reason.......  if ekg and xray and blood work for heart failure show okay..... is there something else that could be wrong or am i just worrying over nothing........ .

Blood has markers for a heart attack, but I believe that is reliable for a short period of time such as a day or so.  An EKG is not very good for evaluating any heart condition other than rhythm disorders.  To determine if there is heart failure requires an echo that can calculate the left ventricle's functionality based on the amount of blood pumped with each heartbeat.  Dry cough is an indication, if heart related, it would cause pulmonary edema.

An xray can be helpful to determine if the heart has enlarged, and that would be a feature for heart failure.

I hope this provides some insight and helps you get to the route of the problem.  Thanks for the question and if you have any further questions or comments you are invited to respond.  Take care.
