Bothering echo findings

Its been teo years after my mitral valve repair everything was fine except for inappropriate sinus tachycardia that I developped post op but now my echo shows trouble in ventricular ralexation it is a grade 1 so my cardiologist didnt give a damn and yet from what I read it must be caused by scar tissues or something and this is life threatning so id like to know is this restrictive cardiomyopathy and if it is will it progress to heart failure or will things stop here since the scar tissue is healed and no more scars will happen ?

Grade 1 diastolic dysfunction is most commonly caused by high blood pressure. Is your pressure normally normal through the whole day? It isn't anything to be too concerned over at the moment because grade 1 is mild and can usually be improved. I doubt very much if you are looking at cardiomyopathy. Are there any other clues from your echo report? such as wall thickening?

It wasnt there in the first 4 echos and the last one was 1year post surgery but before this last echo I had a motorcycle accident and had an operation and was taking anti inflammatoires and stuff

Has it developed over the two years or was this ventrical relaxation grade 1 already there, short after your mitral valve surgery?
