If you had had a heart attack, it is likely you would have symptoms such as shortness of breath, possibly chest pain, fatigue, etc., those symptoms would be apparent with heavy exertion. There are silent heart attacks that are asymptomatic until there is heart failure. That was my experience, so I can't say by experience don't assume anything, and for peace of mind you may what to talk to a doctor
Thanks ken keith. Yeah, i'm a little worried i haven't had any surgery in a long time, no electrocution, hypothermia or lung disease as far as i'm aware. I do have asthma??? Is it a sign of a heart attack that has happened or could happen in the future?
Creatine phosphokinase (CPK) is an enzyme that can be found in the heart, brain and skeletal muscle. A high level of CPK is not a good sign and is an indicator of heart attacks, strokes and other serious diseases. However some prescription drugs and other substances can cause levels of CPK to increase as well as intense exercise.
.
If your doctor has ruled out that your CPK levels are not high from an outside substance, heart attack or stroke, then doctors will need to evaluate other causes such as lung tissue disease, electrical shock, hypothermia or post-operation infection. Worst case scenario.
