Endocarditis Diagnosis From Swollen Red Finger w/Bumps

Ring finger has two bumps on the underside, middle of finger, light red tinge. Top of hand, middle of reverse palm, one swollen red spot. Pain on pressure only.  Urgent Care PA detected murmur. No fever after nine days. Amoxicillin for ten days. Nine years ago I had bacterial endocarditis from dentist, left me in wheelchair, amnesia and OIC.  Will amoxicillin really help kill any infection or is an Echo, cardiologists and fright in my future?  Non-smoker, 40 mg morphine daily, 70 lbs overweight (lost 80), no alcoholic, type 2 no insulin.  Thanks

The pain is promising, but yes if the appearence of your nails raised concerns with a pa for endocarditis i think an echo would be beneficial.

This is regardless of how effective an antibiotic is... You dont just say "i think it might be endocarditis.." Without laying eyes on some valves.
