Drop of Oxygen Level in part of heart
My recent EKG revealed that there is drop in the oxygen level in part of my heart. What may cause this and should I be concerned?

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday, when I mentioned some mild chest pains that I thought was just indigestion; my doctor ordered an EKG, and she said that it seems as though I may have a blockage, probably because they also detected a drop in the oxygen level somewhere in my heart.

Partial occlusion of the coronary arteries will cause ischemia (lack of blood/oxygen) to the heart muscle. EKG is an unreliable source, but it is some evidence of ischemia that can't ignored especiially with symptoms of chest pain and/or shortness of breath.
Would require a stress test to verify any blockage, degree of blockage and location.
